Greetings, Murrell Mustang Families!

Welcome to Murrell School! It is an honor and a privilege to serve as Executive Principal of a school community committed to helping every student grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

At Murrell, we believe every student deserves to be known, supported, challenged, and celebrated. Our dedicated teachers, paraprofessionals, behavior coaches, support staff, families, and community partners collaborate to create a safe, supportive environment where students can build confidence, strengthen their skills, and experience success.

Our theme this year, Level Up Learning, reflects our commitment to helping students reach new levels of success through our 3 R’s: Reading, Responsibility, and Relationships. We recognize that academic growth and positive behavior go hand in hand. By strengthening relationships, setting clear expectations, and providing individualized academic and behavioral supports, we help our students develop the skills they need to become more independent and successful learners.

We maintain high expectations for every student while recognizing that the path to success may look different for each child. At Murrell, progress matters. Whether a student is taking a new academic risk, starting a task independently, improving attendance, making a positive behavioral choice, or reaching an academic goal, we believe those steps deserve recognition and celebration.

Families are essential to this work. I encourage you to stay connected, participate in school activities, communicate with us, and partner with our staff throughout the year. When our school, families, and community work together, we create stronger opportunities for our students to thrive.
